In some cases the software installation files may need to be removed or the application components may need to registered again to correct issues.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This process requires that you re-enter and reactivate your software License Key. The License Key may only be reactivated when the software is under active Support and Maintenance.
From the Programs and Features control panel (or Settings -> Apps & features on Windows 10) select the DATASTOR Shield application and right-click select 'Uninstall/Change'.
The program maintenance wizard will launch. Select the option to "Remove" the software leaving the option to "Completely Remove" unchecked and click Next, and Next again on the confirmation page, as shown below to perform maintenance and uninstall software leaving all configuration information available for the subsequent install of the software.
Now Reinstall the software using the Setup program. The Setup program will automatically detect the previous installation folder. On startup, Add software License key and activate the software.
