Configure Tape Devices wizard ends with warning no tape devices were found

When a tape is present in the tape drive at the time the wizard is executed, the Configure Tape Devices wizard may end with a warning that no tape devices were found.

When a tape is present in the tape drive at the time the wizard is executed, the Configure Tape Devices wizard lists the tape drive and medium changer, if present, on the Tape Device Scan window. However, when the wizard attempts to configure the tape device on the Configure Tape Devices window, it returns an error, "No tape devices were found." See image.

To configure your tape device, close the wizard, then eject the tape from the drive, then run the wizard again. If the tape is inserted in an autoloader, you may return it to a slot in the autoloader. You can access the wizard in the Archive Manager >Tape Storage node in the left pane.
